Culinary Otter is a user-friendly web application designed for students and home cooks seeking culinary inspiration. With this app, users can search for recipes using an external database, view detailed recipe information including ingredients and instructions, and utilize food images provided via an external API to enhance their browsing experience. Users can also create accounts to save their favorite recipes, manage personalized lists, and retrieve saved recipes for later use.
We are Team – TerraBit Solutions, a group of four students passionate about programming and food: Rahim Siddiq, Jess Hammond, Saria Kabbour, and Gary Keupper. Together, we combined our skills in internet programming to bring Culinary Otter to life, creating a platform that makes cooking accessible and enjoyable for everyone.
Our team worked collaboratively to develop Culinary Otter, holding twice-weekly meetings to check in on progress, assign tasks, and ensure we stayed aligned with project goals and deadlines.
